The approach used is a quantitative method with data collection techniques through distributing questionnaires. The sample in this study amounted to 125 respondents selected using the accidental sampling technique. Data processing was carried out with the help of SPSS version 26, and the analysis method used was multiple linear regression. The results of the study indicate that the three independent variables, namely product quality, price perception, and brand image simultaneously have a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions. Partially, each variable also shows a significant effect, with price perception having the most dominant effect. These findings indicate that in order to improve purchasing decisions, Brand Executives need to pay attention to the price perception captured by consumers, accompanied by positive product quality and brand image.
Abdul Harun, Salman Paludi Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Management and Leadership https://jurnal.tau.ac.id/index.php/jml/article/view/848 Wed, 28 May 2025 00:00:00 +0000 THE IMPACT OF CUSTOMER FOCUS STRATEGY ON CLIENT SATISFACTION WITH THE MEDIATING ROLE OF INNOVATION CAPABILITY IN THE IT OUTSOURCING INDUSTRY https://jurnal.tau.ac.id/index.php/jml/article/view/845
This study aims to analyze the extent to which a customer focus strategy influences client satisfaction in the IT outsourcing industry, considering the mediating role of innovation capability. The key research question is: how does innovation capability strengthen the relationship between a customer focus strategy and client satisfaction? Through surveys and interviews with managers from IT outsourcing companies and their clients, the findings reveal that a customer focus strategy has a significant positive effect on client satisfaction. Additionally, innovation capability acts as a mediator that reinforces this relationship. The data show that companies integrating innovation into their customer service are able to enhance client loyalty and foster a more positive perception of service quality. These findings are particularly relevant in the IT industry, where accurately meeting client needs is crucial for maintaining competitive advantage. The study's implications may also be extended to other sectors, encouraging companies to make innovation an integral part of their service strategy in order to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty on an ongoing basis. Overall, this research offers new insights for practitioners and academics to optimize business strategies by emphasizing innovation, thereby contributing to the development of best practices in IT outsourcing.
Ravindra Safitra Hidayat, Panca Maulana, Eryco Muhdaliha Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Management and Leadership https://jurnal.tau.ac.id/index.php/jml/article/view/845 Wed, 28 May 2025 00:00:00 +0000 CONTRIBUTION OF ECONOMIC SECTORS BASED ON BUSINESS FIELDS TO INDONESIA'S GDP GROWTH 2014-2023 https://jurnal.tau.ac.id/index.php/jml/article/view/847
This study aims to analyze the contribution of economic sectors to Indonesia's GDP based on business fields during the administration of President Joko Widodo, using data from the Central Statistics Agency (BPS) and Bank Indonesia (BI) for the period 2014–2023. The method used is quantitative descriptive, which describes the contribution of each sector to GDP with a descriptive statistical approach and data visualization using graphs. The results of the study show that the manufacturing industry sector makes the largest contribution to GDP, followed by the trade and agriculture sectors. Sectors such as health services and education show significant fluctuations, while the construction and transportation sectors experience a stable growth trend. These findings provide a comprehensive picture of the dynamics of economic sectors and can be used as a basis for more effective economic policies in achieving national economic stability and sustainability.
Abdul Azis R, Wisra M, Nur Anisa Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Management and Leadership https://jurnal.tau.ac.id/index.php/jml/article/view/847 Wed, 28 May 2025 00:00:00 +0000 INTERNAL COMMUNICATION AND TEAMWORK AS DETERMINANTS OF EMPLOYEE PRODUCTIVITY IN VIDEO STREAMING FIRMS https://jurnal.tau.ac.id/index.php/jml/article/view/852
After more than three years of fighting together to face the Covid-19 pandemic, the Indonesian government finally decided to revoke the status of the pandemic to endemic in June 2023. The habit during a pandemic where people are required to stay at home continues in the endemic era. An activity that many people still do is use applications via computers, laptops or smartphones to watch on video streaming platforms. As reported by Populix.co, in 2022, 84% of Indonesians subscribe to video streaming applications because they can be watched at any time, 77% have a large choice of films and 74% are looking for entertainment. Based on this trend, many video streaming companies have emerged in Indonesia, one of which is PT Vidio Dot Com (Vidio) which offers many types of viewing for its users. Data from the telecommunications market segment (telco 2022), Vidio is recorded as having the first highest number of 27.7 million active users in Indonesia, Netflix 11.3 million, Viu 10.4 million, and Disney+ 2.4 million. Seeing the large number of Vidio users, companies must pay attention to important factors so as not to lose customers, one of which is human resource management. Without a well-functioning HRM function, employee productivity will not be optimal. This research aims to determine the effect of internal communication and teamwork on employee productivity at Vidio. This research used quantitative methods with random sampling techniques and numbered 86 respondents. The research results show that internal communication has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity, and teamwork has a positive and significant effect on employee productivity.
Agung Priyono, Siti Raisa Rezika Lubis, Muhammad Akmal Azhar, Paidi WS Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Management and Leadership https://jurnal.tau.ac.id/index.php/jml/article/view/852 Wed, 28 May 2025 00:00:00 +0000 ANALYSIS OF THE INFLUENCE OF EARNING PER SHARE RATIO (EPS), PRICE EARNING RATIO (P/E), AND PRICE BOOK VALUE RATIO (PBV) TO STOCK PRICES IN THE TECHNOLOGY COMPANY SUB-SECTOR https://jurnal.tau.ac.id/index.php/jml/article/view/841
This study aims to examine the effect of profitability ratio (EPS), financial ratio (P/E), and market value ratio (PBV), on stock prices in the technology sub-sector listed on the IDX in 20019 - 2023. This research is a quantitative descriptive approach with the selected companies being LUCK, DIVA, NFCX, MCAS, KIOS, ATIC, MLPT, EMTK, PTSN, KREN, and MTDL. The analysis methods used are descriptive analysis, selection of panel data regression model estimates, classical assumption tests, and panel data regression tests. Hypothesis testing uses the t-test to test the coefficient partially, the f-test to test the magnitude of the variable effect, and the Coefficient of Determination test using R2to test simultaneously. All variables have been tested using the classical assumption test. The results showed that all variables passed the classical assumption test and panel data regression test, so they were suitable for use as research data. The statistical t test results show that the variable earning per share ratio (EPS) partially has a significant and positive effect on stock prices. The price earning ratio (P/E) variable partially has a significant and positive effect on stock prices. The price to book value (PBV) ratio variable partially has a significant and negative effect on stock prices. Simultaneously, the Earning per Share (EPS), Price Earning Ratio (P/E), and Price to Book Value (PBV) ratios have a significant effect on stock prices. This is explained by the Sig F value = 0.000 < Level of Significant = 0.05, and the R2 (coefficient of determination) value of 91.702%, while other factors outside the model explain the remaining 8.298%. This research can be used by companies and investors who will make investments
Anita Munir, Adam Kartanegara, Fahri Haikal Copyright (c) 2025 Journal of Management and Leadership https://jurnal.tau.ac.id/index.php/jml/article/view/841 Wed, 28 May 2025 00:00:00 +0000
