Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems contribute significantly to energy consumption in buildings, accounting for up to 40–60% of total energy use. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Smart HVAC systems based on Internet of Things (IoT) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to improve energy efficiency in buildings. The method used is a literature review and system analysis approach by examining previous studies related to smart HVAC technologies. The results indicate that the integration of IoT enables real-time monitoring, while AI enhances adaptive control and predictive optimization of HVAC operations. These technologies have the potential to significantly reduce energy consumption without compromising thermal comfort. Therefore, Smart HVAC systems can be considered an effective solution for achieving energy-efficient and sustainable buildings.
